Welcome to our newest accommodation

New for 2021 are our 3 loft apartments, suitable for 2-4 persons, these self catering apartments are available for week bookings all year round.  With fantastic sea views over Porth Hellick Bay and the added reassurance of the hostel reception services and Cafe facilities, why not come and visit us?

The apartments are situated upstairs, above the hostel. They include a fully equipped kitchenette, which are open plan with a purpose built dining area and lounge. The apartments have a shower/wc per 2 guests and either twin or king size beds. All apartments share the extensive outdoor communal facilities. The apartments are accessed via their own external footpath, to the rear of the hostel building. Our 2 person apartments are dog friendly.

What type of apartments do we offer?

2 PERSON APARTMENTS - Monday to Monday 
This 2 person apartment has an open plan kitchenette/lounge/diner, one bedroom with a kingsize bed and separate shower/wc. Diner has sea views over Porth Hellick. This flat is dog friendly.

- Wednesday to Wednesday 
Our 4 person apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 shower/wc; one kingsize ensuite bedroom, and one twin bedded room. The twin also has capacity for an extra infant cot or rollout bed for 2-12 yrs. This apartment has an open plan 'L' shaped kitchen/lounge/diner and separate shower/wc. Diner and twin room have sea views over Porth Hellick.

What are the prices?

2021 prices  (May to October*):

2 Person Apartment = £560 per week 
4 Person Apartment = £854 per week

2022 prices  (May to October*):

2 Person Apartment = £574 per week 

4 Person Apartment = £875 per week

Autumn/Winter discounts from October through to May; prices from £350 per week

EXTRASInfant Cot = Free of Charge, Dog = £30 per week each (2 person flats only),                              Extra child 2-12yrs = £30 per week ('Aloft' 4 person flat only) 

Where are we?

Longstone Lodge is situated almost dead centre of St. Mary's. We are 2km/15-20 minutes walk from Hugh Town.  For full details of our location and how to reach us see our dedicated 'How to Get Here' page.

What facilities do we offer?

Downstairs, adjoining the hostel is a guest laundry and drying room, which includes a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Tokens for the machines are purchased from reception. There is also rotary washing lines in the garden for guest use.

For families with young children: Bed guards, age related toys and baby sleeping bags can be borrowed from reception. Longstone Lodge gardens include a children's play area as well as spacious field with football goal and outdoor seating.

Longstone Cafe is adjacent to the hostel and is open from 10.00am to 4.30pm daily from Easter to the end of October, during the cooler months the Café is open on Sundays and more often over the Christmas period.

What else do you need to know?

Reception is open: 8.30-10am, 12.30-2pm and 5-6.30pm.
Check out time is 10am.

We provide bathroom towels in the apartments, but not beach towels. However should you not wish to carry these in your luggage, we hire these from reception priced at £2 each.

Although we do not provide meals at Longstone Lodge, we do stock basic food items at Reception, such as milk, bread (GF/Vegan available), butter, cereal, cheese, tinned goods, pizza, drinks, fresh eggs, bacon, dry goods such as pasta and rice,  along with frozen homecooked meals.

Every Friday, from May to October, Longstone Café hosts a 'Lobster Night' where guests can book for a 3 course meal to sample local lobster and listen to an informative talk about shellfishing by owner and fisherman Colin Jenkins.  Contact us to book your table on 01720 422410 or email: longstonelodge@yahoo.com
